Secretary of State Clinton said it was "insulting" that Israel announced the opening of new settlements in the West Bank or the East Bank or the Bank of America while VP Biden was visiting there.
"Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk. Naughty bad little country. You didn't do what we wanted and then you said you were doing what we didn't want you to do when we didn't want you to say it. You did what you thouht was in your country's best interest to do and you didn't do what we think is in your best interest to do. Who runs your country anyway? Read the fine print of our friendship. It was Secretary Clinton's remarks that were insulting...insulting to her, to our country, to the people of Israel and of all the countries of the world we presume to keep, and to intelligence and independence the world over.
